Get it right the first time
How to choose
your colour.
Four things that save you from a repaint you did not plan for. None of them cost anything but a little patience.
01
Test it on the actual wall
A colour behaves differently on render, weatherboard and brick, and against your bricks and your trees. Brush a real sample onto the surface it will live on, a decent patch, not a postage stamp. That is the only test that tells the truth.

Look at it morning and evening
Sydney light swings hard through the day. A grey that looks cool and crisp at 8am can warm up and soften by 5pm. Live with the sample for a day or two and check it in morning sun, flat midday glare and late afternoon shade before you commit.

Account for the roof and the fixed bits
Your colour never stands alone. It has to sit with the roof, the windows, the pavers, the fence and anything you are not changing. We always pick the wall colour against those fixed elements so the whole place reads as one, not a patchwork.

Do not trust a phone screen
Every screen renders colour its own way, and a render online is not a paint chip. Use digital swatches to shortlist, never to decide. The final call should always be made on a real sample, on your home, in your light.
